Safety at victoria falls
I will go to victoria falls at the end of may. Since the news about the
situation in Simbabwe has been pretty bad recently I wonder if this effects safety at victoria falls too. Maybe somebody has been there recently and can tell how the situation is there . Konstantin |

Safety at victoria falls
I will go to victoria falls at the end of may. Since the news about the
situation in Simbabwe has been pretty bad recently I wonder if this effects safety at victoria falls too. Maybe somebody has been there recently and can tell how the situation is there . Spent 3 days in Vic Falls at early April, 2004. Everythings appeared normal. Did not feel unsafe or any threats when walking in the town center during the day time. Quite a lot of tourist police on the streets. The only thing was that........it was too quiet in Vic Falls. My observation was that...most of the hotels / resorts were quite 'EMPTY'. Take normal precautionary measures. DO NOT change money on the street! |
