snip hsbc employee remarks

It is because it is America, they have laws on the use of
condoms. There is nothing in the USA that does not have
a law attached to it, they have to have laws to tell you what
you can do. That is why those from the USA cannot get an
account in the Channel Islands, so many laws it is not worth
their while, those from the USA cannot access the US Stock
Market from those accounts, so what is the point for them.

Yes, the USA is becoming a totalitarian nation. Soon they will be
telling us how we can and cannot **** in our own homes. Both parties
suck, not a whit of difference between the Republicans and Democrats.
Both arms of the same monster.

I think you have been damn decent as always, I'm not sure
why some have gone after you.

While the rest of the world is moving toward tolerance of
others, the USA is moving in the direction of making
intersexual children and homosexuals second class
subhuman beings. Were Bush to get the Marriage Ban
Amendment put into the US Constitution, intersexuals
would find themselves in a world that they could never
legally marry. What does that say to them, that they
are freaks that are not human beings. After all who
does a hermaphrodite legally marry if they only legal
marriage is one between a man and a woman.

Wonderful; assuming your not a shill for HSBC.

Now if their moron customers service dept. could understand English

Actually it is my typing that needs brushing up on, not my knowledge of
English, of which I consistently score in the top one percentile.

You're beginning Chris to look more and more like an HSBC employee.
Probably one of those lamers making $8 and hour pretending to be a
customer disservice (sic) rep.

You came here looking for suggestions on banks operating
internationally, and I was trying to help you by offering my best
impartial advice based on 25 years of working in various countries
around the world. I have no connection with HSBC other than as a
reasonably satisfied customer and am not pretending to be anything
other than that. HSBC may not be perfect, but no bank is, and after
trying a few others they've worked out the best of the bunch for me.

With your attitude, I'm not surprised you're having difficulty
establishing a good working relationship with anyone.

Quite agree. Good subjective advice offered, offensively dismissed.
I guess I am also considered an HSBC stooge too because I said some good
things about them.

And maybe "echo" should reconsider his expertise in English:
"Actually it is my typing that needs brushing up on, not my knowledge of
English, of which I consistently score in the top one percentile. "

"brushing up on"? Drop the "on" surely?
"..My knowledge of English, of which I consistently score..."
Oh dear, back to preposition school I fear. Top percentile? In which
country?

I guess your English is also poor too also, also?
Moron.

Two encounters with HSBC tells me they don't give a damn for the public,
nor for customer service, but you two are stupid enough to have accounts
with them, so be it.

Gosh, two bad encounters. You must be right, my 20+ year experience with
HSBC in the UK and 10+ years in Indonesia is nothing in comparison to yours.
I must close the accounts immediately, being a moron.
Others will have to make their own judgements.
Over and out.
