Anyway to get Australian stamps online in advance of a trip there

You could have a look at the Australia Post site - might be some info
there. If not get just some Aussie to buy them for you (drop me a line
if you are stuck)

Do you mean postage stamps (and if so why? Given that you're coming to Austr
shortly, and they're freely available within the country!!) or passport
'stamps' i.e. visas. If the latter you can get an ETA (Electronic Travel
Authority or on-line visa) online with a credit card).
