You might have a better chance of pursuing an FTC-related

However, Carnival's acquisition of Princess was reviewed by
the FTC. Here's what the experts said:

George W. appointed a moron who was pro merger.

So casually you dismiss anyone you disagree with?

It was a commission of experts, not one person. Read up a
bit more.

Experts can be both biased and morons.

Cool it, Bicker. Charles uses the word in that way as short for
"virtual" monopoly. No, it isn't the "strict" definition of the term.
I'm not claiming that Carnival is a monopoly. The argument is impact on
consumers, Carnival's savvy enough not to break the law, yet.

In other words, you can't defend the hyperbole posted
earlier. If you can't defend it, you should probably not
call attention to it by posting that you can't defend it.

I'm not in court. Charles clarified his position well in a followup
post. Good enough for me, and I don't post in rtc to satisfy you. Far
from it.

Ben,

While I don't always agree with Charles, and while I do not know *bicker*,
and while I will probably have my head handed to me for expressing my
opinion, and while I have no objection to anyone expressing their point of
view, I find it amusing that *bicker* has become one of this newsgroup's
most frequent posters when, in the earliest post I can find from him, he
stated

"We're a couple of forty-something first-time cruisers,
looking for a bit of help clearing up the incredible
profusion of confusion with respect to finding the right
cruise for us, and getting the best price. Pointers to any
FAQs would be greatly appreciated, but so would any specific
advice given our specific specifications.".

HAL's new tipping policy has now been discussed for almost four months and
while I am aware that there are always new people reading the newsgroup at
any time, IMHO it is starting to get boring.

Y'know this self-serving blind bias of yours and Ben's
doesn't actually *help* customers. It just spreads
irrational discontent.

You are a riot bicker.

Let's just say we have completely different perspectives.

And that would be an understatement.

Charles, your perspective is as pragmatic as anyone's. I'm a different
animal altogether in being partly iconoclastic, and it is something of a
riot to see us grouped together.
