I don't think you'll be doing serious hiking on the same days as you're
popping in and out of dozens of no-shoe buildings.

So bring some hiking boots, if you want, for the jungle trek that you'll
probably never do, and then bring some good comfortable canvas sandals to
walk around the towns.

You won't be expected to remove your shoes before entering every
building. A couple of exceptions to this would be when visiting
temples, or a person's home. People wear their shoes inside hotels and
most other public places.

Ohh kay... so I can just get a pair of sandles down there and bring my
hikers. What do you mean the jungle treck i'll never do...lol... no
most of the time will prob be on the beach, tannin at day, drinkin at
nite! Thanks for the tips guys! This way i won't be there with 100
extra unnecessary things.
