Default First trip to Koh Samui ... I have a couple of questions

I'm going to Koh Samui in March for 12 days and 3 days in Bangkok but can't
seem to find the answers to the following questions. If anyone can help out
it would be appreciated.

1. I have DEET spray with wrist and ankle bands but can't find an answer
about nets. Should I take a mosquito net for the bed to Koh Samui when the
accomodation is air-conditioned?

2. Should I exchange money before going or use cashpoints out there?

3. Can anyone recommend any diving schools near the Big Buddha beach?

thanks for any help

3)Sorry, no idea.

re 2:
why should he exchange money prior to going to Samui?
There should be many ATMs/Banks/other places to exchange money on Samui.
I've been only once on Samui (September 2002) for some days, but what would
a tourist-center like Samui without appropriate places to get cash?

just wondering: ....tmo!

We were in Samui in July 04 for 6 days (and Bangkok for 10 days). Loved it.
You won't need insect nets in aircon hotel. Our hotel provided cans of
insect repellent for the room. Use personal insect repellent if out and
about at dawn and dusk. There are ATMs everywhere. It's far easier to use
them than to change a whole load of money before you go out or to use
travellers cheques. Just change enough for arrival. We changed about
AUD100 on leaving Sydney then worked from ATMs. Very easy. Didn't do any
diving so can't help with that question. Enjoy your trip.

Yes, plenty of ATMs about but very expensive. To withdraw £150 worth I was
charged £8 by my bank in the UK (RBS).
