Who is cooking up the books here?

The claim that Howard Dean is a grassroots candidate is another, media
circus delusion. Senator Paul Wellstone is what you call a grassroots
candidate. Republicans think that if they can pour money into an
Internet campaign to make a loser like Howard Dean a so called
populist, they can manipulate the election. I knew Senator Paul
Wellstone and he is no Howard Dean.

Tell did you not hear of the Saddam personal bodyguard who is (six
months after the fall of Saddam) a member of al Queda, who is now in
charge of terrorism in northern Iraq.
Intelligence discovered during the Clinton administration showed (
not proved) a connection between Saddam and al Queda, according to the
liberal press.

Ohco, Give us a break !!!

Intelligence discovered during the Bush administration has shown a lot of
things, or rather: has CLAIMED a lot of things, but so far has failed to
show up with any proof to substantiate the lies Bush and his cronies had to
rely on to get us into this war. It just doesn't make sense. There simply
was no pre-war connection between the Pan-Arabic, socialist, nationalist,
secular Baathism one finds in Iraq or Syria, and the kind of
internationalist, Pan-Muslim, integrist, religious Jihad Al Quaeda stands
for. In that perspective, W. Bush himself; in his crusade for infinite
justice and the war on terror, is a lot closer to Osama than Saddam ever
was, certainly in the run-up to the invasion. Not too mention the very
close business links between the Bushies and the Bin Laden Family... What
happened to those pages in the infamous 9/11 report??? Now how was that for
intelligence...

You avoided my question about the ex body guard of Saddam.

Nice URL, a story about a book written by some one that I never heard
of. The author whom dislikes the President.

Hey asshole, get your facts straight.

The U.S. HAS paid the rent every year. Castro doesn't cash the checks.

Which means that they haven't paid!

Obviously, the nuances of contract law escape you. Rendering payment in
negotiable form covers the specific performance required, IIRC, and
"cashing the check" is not required (unless the contract called for payment
in specie or apples, etc.).

OK, Fair enough--Poland was part of the coalition-- all but a small
part.

You guys can be the prime contractor for Polish sausage and potato
blintzes.

Well, since we were in Iraq mainly building factories, bridges, roads
etc i guess our companies, which were present for years in Iraq and
lost contracts because Poland backed USA, would want to continue their
past activities.

I see, so you go to the store, pick up some merchandise, write a check which
the merchant decides not to cash. By your logic you have not paid and are a
thief!

How narrow minded can you possibly be?

Let me put it this way. I "rent" your car. Mail you a check of one dollar
each year and your should be glad and happy. Well - if you cash in the check
I have all reason to believe that you are in fact glad and happy. If you
don't and continue to protest and do not cash in the check you are in a very
different position.

If thinking more clearly than you constitutes narrow mindedness then I wear
that label proudly. In this case narrow minded seems to mean not agreeing
with you, which would be the normal reaction of any rational person.

As to you attempt at an argument, if I agreed to the one dollar rental
price then we have a contract and that is that. If I want to change the
terms after the fact you are well within your rights to refuse. Really
pretty simple if you would bother to give it any thought.
