Jetstar from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh City?

Can anyone give me some tips on flying from Sydney to Ho Chi Minh city
on Jetstar? It's a cheap flight but my wife reckons it's 'cattle
class' and worse than going at all. I can't believe it's that bad.
Anyone with some direct experience of the trip? I reckon I'd sit in
the toilet for a free frequent flyers points trip (which this is) but
I may be missing something.

Have you read http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/jetstar.htm ?

It seems that the seat pitch is about the same as on Qantas international
flights, but service is rather patchy.
