The Secrets of Zanzibar Photo Tour. Jan 10th - 23rd 2004



What is it about Zanzibar? What makes it so exotic to people who have

never been there and hardly know where it is? It is one of those

magical African names like Timbuktu and Casablanca. My first visit

there was in September 1999. I was enthralled and visually stimulated

with the photographic opportunities everywhere I went. Therefore,

join me and discover the many different faces of this fascinating

island. Stone Town, with its maze of alleyways and street vendors;

Dhow shipbuilders; village life; spice plantations and ancients Sultan's

palaces await you. We are accompanied by Salim Abdullah, the charming

Swahili speaking guide who enable us to obtain unique photographic

opportunities when meeting with Zanzibar people.
