travel weather for anywhere
If you know the ICAO not the IATA code you can get the weahter for any
city. Airnav.com I know will look up the ICAO codes for quite a few airports. The first letter designates the country or area. K is the prefix for most USA airports, P for Hawaii, E for Europe ICAO and IATA codes are NOT always the same here is an example for Hamburg Germany ICAO is EDDF while IATA is HAM http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/EDDH.html Phoenix Arizona USA ICAO KPHX and IATA PHX http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KPHX.html I have these bookmarked and it's a quick way to get weather info last week, I took a trip and used the http://weather.noaa.gov/weather/current/KSTL.html to get info on where I was going the 4 letter location code must be in all CAPS as this is hosted o na unix machine and unix is very CASE sensitive.
