Default Myanmar Adventure Tour

YANGON-HEHO-PINDAYA-INLE-KHAUNG DING-MANDALAY-PYIN OO LWIN-BAGAN-MOUNT
POPA-PYAY-YANGON(17D/16N)

DAY ( 1 ) ARRIVAL YANGON (L,D)
Arrive at Yangon. Meet & transfer to hotel by our tour guide. Dinner at
local restau rant and overnight at Hotel [Superior]

DAY ( 2 ) YANGON -HEHO-PINDAYA (B,L,D)
Early morning transfer to air port for flight to Heho. Upon arrival, drive
to the small quiet town Pinyada to visit Pindaya lake and Pindaya caves,
well known for its countless Buddha images. Enjoy also the scenic beauty of
the countryside along the road to Pindaya.

DAY ( 3 ) PINDAYA-KALAW (B,L,D)
After lunch, proceed to Kalaw, a beautiful pine -clad hill-station through
some of the loveliest scenery of the Shan Plateau. Evening walking tour in
Kalaw. Over night in Kalaw.

DAY ( 4 ) KALAW- INLE (B,L,D)
After breakfast, excursion to inle Lake, famous for its unquie leg-rowers
and scenic beauty. Tour highlights; Phaungdaw Oo Pago-da; weaving village of
Inpawkon; wonderful floating gardens; floghting market; method of fishing
and villaage life on the lake, Ovenight in Khaung Daing.

DAY ( 5 ) EXCURSION TO INDINE (B,L,D)
Morning excursion to Indine by boat. Afternoon free at leisure.Overnight at
Khaung Daing.

DAY ( 6 ) EXCURSION TO TAUNG TOE & KYAUK DAINE (B,L,D)
Morning excursion to Taung Toe & Kyaik Daine by Boat. Overnight in Khaung
Daing.

DAY ( 7 ) HEHO-MANDALAY (B,L,D)
Morning drive to Heho Airport for flight back to Mandalay. Upon arrival,
sightseeingin Mandalay highlights traditional silk weaving industry;
Shwenandaw Monastery, noted for its exquisite wood carvings; Atumashi
Monastery; Kuthodaw Pagoda, known as the world's Biggest Book for its stone
slabs of Buddhist scriptures; Kyauktawgyi Pagoda, a large Buddha image
carved out of a single block of marble; Mandalay Hill, a vantage-point for
panormic view of the city; and Mandalay Palace.
Afternoon sightseeing features Eindawya, a finely propor-tionate pagoda;
Shweinbin Monastery; famous Mahamuni Pagoda; and traditional handicraft
workshops-ivory craving, gold-leaf making and em-broidery work. Overnight in
Mandalay.

DAY ( 8 ) EXCURSION TO MINGUN (B,L,D)
Morning boat trip to Mingun, a village in the west bank of the Ayeyarwaddy
River. Enjoy a walking tour visiting Myatheindan Pagoda with seven
concentric terraces at the base; Mingun Bell , the world's largest ringing
bell; Settawya Pagoda; Pondawpaya (the model of Mingun Pagoda); and Mingun
Village.
Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY ( 9 ) EXCURSION TO PYIN OO LWIN [MAYMYO](B,L,D)
After breakfast, an excursion to Pyin Oo Lwin, a hill-station over 1100
metres above the sea level and 69 km to the east of Mandalay. Enjoy also the
glimpses of scenic beauty along the uphill road to Pyin Oo Lwin. Tour
highlights; Forest Museum; Pwe-kauk Water falls; and 142-hectare Botanical
Garden. After lunch drive back to Mandalay. Overnight in Mandalay.

DAY ( 10 ) MANDALAY-BAGAN(B,L,D)
Morning transsfer to Gawwein Jetty to take a whole day riverine cruise on
the mighty Ayeyarwaddy , from Mandalay to Bagan . Enjpy the extraordinary
scenic and interesting sights along the picture-sque Ayeyarwaddy River.
Arrive at Nyaung Oo Jetty and transfer to hotel in Bagan. Overnight in
Bagan.

DAY ( 11 ) BAGAN(B,L,D)
Sightseeing tour of Bagan highlights Naung Oo Market; Shwezigon Pagoda, the
prototype of later Myanmar stupas; Kyansittha Umin, a tunnel with an
interesting feature of paint ings; Htilominlo Temple and Shwegugyi Temple
tramsitional in style between the Early Late Bagan period. Lunch at a
restaurant.
Afternoon visit Ananda Temple, Ananda Okkyaung, a brick monastery with mural
paint ing; Lacquerware factories; Manuha Temple; Nanpaya, highest of Bagan
temples; and Bupaya Pagoda on the brink of majestic Ayeyarwaddy river.
Overnight in Bagan.

DAY ( 12 ) EXCURSION RO MOUNT POPA (B,L,D)
Morning excursion to the enchanting Mount Popa, agreat extinct volcano
situated about 67 km southeast of Bagan, via Kyaukpadaung. Mount Popa ,
standing out as a green clad landmark in the Dry Sone, is a place of special
inportance in Myanmar culture, history and legends. Tour highlights: toddy
palm groves and jaggery, cottage industry; Kyaukpadaung Market; Popa
Village; and the famous Popa Taungkalat, a tower like volcanic plug lying on
the south western slope of Mount Popa. Overnight in Bagan.

DAY ( 13 ) BAGAN-PYAY(B,L,D)
After breakfast leave bagan for a full day's drive to Pyay, a thriving
trading town situated at the confluence of Ayeyarwaddy and Nawin Rivers. En
route enjoy the Dry Zone- the land of peanuts, cotton, tobacco, sessamum
seeds and toddy plams. Overnight in Pyay.

DAY ( 14 ) PYAY(B,L,D)
Morning excurssion to anancient Pyu capital Thayakhittaya (5th to 9th
century AD), about 8 km southeast of Pyay. Tour highlights; Palace Site;
Bebe, Lemyethna and East Zegu Temples the prototype of Payagyi and Payama
Stupa each with a high conical dome; and Archaelogical Museum.
Afternoon sighseeing in Pyay featuring the famous Shwe-sandaw Pagoda on
Sudassana Hill ; Hsehtatkyi Pagoda, a mammoth sitting buddha Statue; Shwe
Phone Pwint Library and Museum with a good collection of an antiquities
specially those from Thayekhittaya; and Pyay Market. Overnight in Pyay.

DAY ( 15 ) PYAY-YANGON(B,L,D)
After breakfast, drive back to Yangon . After Lunch, Yangon evening
sighseeing tour of Yangon visit Kaba Aye (World Peace ) Pagoda; Maha Pasana
Guha Cave, China Town for Shopping. Overnight in Yangon.
