ukraine scam (someone finds money)
First day in Kiev, my friend was walking down the street and someone
jumped in front of him and picked up a huge wad of money from the ground. He said something about the custom is to share good fortune. I immediately told my friend this must be a scam and to ignore him. Does anyone know how this scam continues? How do they ultimately get you? Robert |

ukraine scam (someone finds money)
The chap offers to go to a quieter spot to divide the money, gives you half
the money, then the other chap appears pretending to be the one who've lost the money and demands his money back. The first chap runs away, you are left to pay half of the money to the "owner". wrote in message news First day in Kiev, my friend was walking down the street and someone jumped in front of him and picked up a huge wad of money from the ground. ukraine scam (someone finds money)
the top and bottom bills are genuine.the rest are monopoly money.
he would take you inside a bar for a vodka/woman. Then you would be robbed of your money by his accomplices. Actually he wouldnt be scamming you, as he is telling you upfront that the custom is to share your (western) good fortune. Sam wrote in message . ..
