The ferry is definitely the more spectacular, and it goes without saying that the music does usually play for part of the journey... I'm just used to taking the train, as I travel to Hamilton Square quite a bit from Manchester. -- (*) ... of the royal duchy of city south and deansgate David Horne- http://www.davidhorne.net (don't email yahoo address) usenet (at) davidhorne (dot) co (dot) uk |

Well I'd love to visit the Natural History Museum. And I'd love to see
some castles. I live in South America and, of course, New Word's countries doesn't have Middle Age castles.. How many days should I spend to meet London without lose important places to view/stay? impossible question really. Personally I would want to make two walks. One taking in Soho, Buckingham palace, British Museum and the Inns of Court down to the Thames and nexy day continue along the Thames to Greenwich after trip on the "eye". But thats how I like to see cities. If you want to do all the museums and galleries you might need 14 days! -- Mike Reid UK walking, food, photos "http://www.fellwalk.co.uk" -- you can email us@ this site Spain walking, food, tourism "http://www.fell-walker.co.uk" Beginners UK flight sim addons "http://www.lawn-mower-man.co.uk" |

They don't have european 'castles' for sure, but a wealth of other old buildings, temples and monuments. Even 'european' stuff can be quite impressive- thinking for example of the cathedral in Merida (Mexico.) That's as old as many churches that visitors to Europe ooh and ah at! -- (*) ... of the royal duchy of city south and deansgate David Horne- http://www.davidhorne.net (don't email yahoo address) usenet (at) davidhorne (dot) co (dot) uk |
