Further is it adviceable to drive from Phuket -Phang Nga - Krabi -Nakhon

How's the road condition in Thailand btw and weather in November?
Any one experience to drive up to the north or to southern Thailand from
BKK please share with me .
Thanks!

Default Northern& Southern thailand

I took a day trip by van (arranged through Top North Tours, 41 Moon
Muang Road, Chiang Mai) that went from Chiang Mai to some hot springs
north of Chiang Mai, then up through Chiang Rai and to an Akha
hilltribe village just outside the town, then up to Chiang Saen where
we transferred to longboat for a trip across the Mekong River to
Donexao, Laos and then upriver to the Golden Triangle, where the van
picked us up and drove over to Mae Sai on the Burmese border before
heading back to Chiang Mai. I was very impressed with the roads up
north, which were wide and very well maintained; my impression of
Thailand is that it is basically Burma with really good roads. I
can't comment on the drive from Bangkok to Chiang Mai as I had taken
the Night Train (lv BKK 10 pm/arv CM 12 pm the next day). I was there
in October, which is just after the rains up north but at the tail end
of the rains in the south; November should be good weather-wise. Some
brief travel reports on Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Ayutthaya, Cha-am and
Phetchaburi, along with some reports on Burma, can be found he
