Be cautious with buying a duty free camera at the
airports, if you have a defective one where will you get
service? Pay a little more and get it from a trusted source
nearer home.

Duty free prices for digital cameras at LHR tend to be higher than the
online dealers.

Goto the BAA web site look up Dixons phone number for the terminal you
are going to use and ask them.

Or if Incheon is like most duty-frees, go home and pay a little less
unless you are buying booze or perfume. (US perspective.)

I have not found a cheap European airport location for electronics when
compared with Asian or US mail order places.

As previously suggested. Best is to buy locally (in the country) where
there is warranty coverage. Gone are the days of international
warranty.

I've bought 4 digital cameras (Sony, Canon & Casio) and a Sigma lens
in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore shops, and a Minolta 35mm compact
camera from a Helsinki duty free shop, all within the past year. All
had international warranties and details of local service centres
should a repair be required.
