Lufthansa Online Europe fares
I was trying to book a airfare Frankfurt-Rome via Lufthansa Online. When I set my domicile to Germany, the fare comes out to 150 Euros. When I set the domicile to USA, the fare comes out to over 1200 Euros. (However, completion of the booking requires a correct domicile to be set). If I book through a travel agent in Germany, can I get the German fares? Or am I just out of luck on this one? Thanks Suresh |

Have you tried other websites? |

It's worth checking Expedia and Travelocity. www.opodo.de may also quote the better fare--but again you need a foreign address to purchase the tickets from them. And have you tried www.ual.com (United will list LH flights--though they might not help with that fare). |

Now that I looked, the lufthansa website does say that the fare can change based on your home country. I guess I will try some travel agents in Germany as well. -Suresh |

Presumably they are e-tickets, so he would not have to worry about where they would be delivered! All part of the cutthroat airline market in Europe now?
