Right in front of the cathedral there is a large square with lots of
cafes, looks like a good place to hang out.

Aachen is a student city. There's the "Pontstrasse" from Market to north
with ****loads of pubs, bars, cafes, snacks etc. Mainly students there
though. Generally, northways from Market lies the University part of the
city, southways the commercial part with shops, stores etc.

Dont miss the cathedral and the city hall, both gothic.

You might visit the "Carolus thermen", a thermal bath.
You might also want to visit the casino. If you're looking for an expensive
Hotel, try out "Quellenhof".

like all u can eat? Try "Nudeloper" - 7EUR and as much pasta as you can eat.
Yummie!

Any questions? Don't hesitate to ask.

Cheers,
Matthias (from Aachen)
