Getting from Port to Rome
Rail Europe or Commuter Train? When leaving Civitavecchia going to Rome, which train do I want to take that will put me at St. Peter's Station not Termini. I know I can make advance reservations on Rail Europe but the schedule looks like they don't go anywhere in Rome but Termini Station. Since we only have about 6-7 hours in Rome, we want to get to Vatican City first and then tour from there.

They will sell you a ticket for the commuter train and probably charge you a fee for doing so. Just head to the station and buy the ticket there. |

Getting from Port to Rome
The best web page I know for rail schedules throughout Europe is
Deutsche Bahn: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/que...newrequest=yes Just remember that all place names are in the language of the country. So search for trains from Civitavecchia to Roma S. Pietro. - Walt Bilofsky thenotebook wrote: Rail Europe or Commuter Train? When leaving Civitavecchia going to Rome, which train do I want to take that will put me at St. Peter's Station not Termini.
