It seemed VOYAGER had more challenges during her building, with the
first floating ice skating rink, the long Royal Promenade with massive
fire doors, not to mention one of the first passenger ships to utilize
Azipods (and three at that). The special on VOYAGER really showcased
those challenges as well as the many design issues.
Both specials are certainly "must-haves" for any ship lover.

Carnival Paradise=AE utilizes Azipods. Did Voyager come out before
Carnival Paradise=AE? If not then Voyager wasn't the first to utilize
Azipods.
Someone correct me if I am getting things confused. If I am right I am
not saying the Paradise was the fist to use them. JDR

I though Elation was the first passenger ship to use Azipods. (I could be
wrong)

Of course, military ships have used them for some time.

The QM2 is also the first OL to use quad EPD's (two rotational and two static).
All four EPD's use SS wheels instead of bronze.
