Periyar National Park is one place you won't see them.

We've been at the Sariska Tiger Reserve last December, 200 km south of
Delhi. They have around 30 tigers, but we didn't see any.

want to do a rangers course at one of the national parks it Pench Tiger
Reserve, i think,

but i was told by 2 diferent agents that Bandhavgarh national park is
better than Ratchambore one, i was wondering if that ture or anything

how cheap is inida etc,

india can be very cheap or not-that-cheap depending on how you want to
do things.. spose it's quite obvious: you can save a great deal of money
if you're not looking for comfort (hotels: take govt. run hotels, travel
packages: find out urself, transport: plane vs. train, car rental/taxi
vs. buses) and you have plenty of time.
Also, different prices are charged for indian nationals vs. tourists at
some spots (eg. Taj Mahal charges 50 INR for indian nationals vs. 850
INR for tourists).
