Need travel advice Perth in May/June
Hi, my family (2 kids, 2 adults) will be in the perth area end of May
and begining June for abt 10 days. We'd appreciate some advice on where to go (and not to go) during this autumn/winter period. Also what should our most basic clothing requirements be (seeing as we're from summer-all-year malaysia)? Thanks |

Starting to get cool, about 8c the other night 25 or so today. IMO a
couple of jumpers a jacket and maybe a rain coat will do. Perth isn't really cold in the true sense of the word, we're from Hawaii and it took several years to acclimatize to the weather. The southwest would be the place to go (we're in Bridgetown) if you want to experience miles of nothing head north. With your time span I suggest hiring a car heading to Kalgoolie and south to Albany over to Denmark across to Margaret River from there its an easy 4 hour drive back to Perth. Just one idea, I'm sure others would be just as good or better. Ed |
