Default Hotel to Avoid

If you are looking for cheap budget accommodation in Sydney, convenient
to the Central Business District, one to avoid at all costs is the
Macquarie Boutique Hotel at 42 Wentworth St. This is in effect an old
corner pub which has been given a coat of paint. Rooms are old and
small, the elevator does not work, and the noise of the band downstairs
makes conversation, TV, and sleep almost impossible. It is massively
overpriced at $100. They should charge no more than $30 for the
standard of accommodation provided. Avoid this one at all costs.

If you want to rate hotels (either positively or negatively) I'd suggest a
far more effective way is to post your review at www.tripadvisor.com - it's
the website I invariably refer to when I want to see whether the hotel I
intend to book is not too sleazy. There are nine reviews for that hotel
there, most of them quite unfavourable.
