I am a big city person, and I like HK. Second option would be Thailand, with excellent medical service. When you retire, medical service is a huge factor. Yes but they can be very expensive because you are not a Thai citizen. |

The condition If money wasn't a limitation was offered, and the response If money is no object, came with that understanding. So why bring up Why indeed. |

Make that Malaysian citizen with the identity of 'muslim' (what ever
that mean). As for other citizen from other countries, it's pretty much free for all provided one isn't too over the top. After all, there's that casino at Genting, and everyone other than Malaysian citizens with the identity of 'muslim' are welcome there. Besides, gambling is not forbidden at all in the Qur'an. The Qur'an isn't that so restrictive. As for staying in one place. As always, where ever you're staying, make sure you got a back up plan and an escape plan. Becareful though, with the way the mass media disinform the public, the safest place they told you might not be the safest place at all. May I remind you that Hong Kong Hong Kong is where Chinese criminals usually go when they are wanted in China, Australia is of course once a place where convicts were sent. It should be noted that big hospitals (and maybe even some smaller ones) are places where they conduct experiments on people. Healing people? Well... If one is lucky. You have more luck with inviduals rather than organizations, but then again, health is more than physical, it's also mental and spiritual. As for the place to spend on retirement. That really depends on each person. Each person has his or her own place that he or she prefered. Personally, I don't think that one should really retire at all. After all, I know one particular person who still in duty even when he was around 84 years old, he only recently retired because he was recalled back to the head office, his position was replaced by a 78 years old. Yes, I'm talking about that particular 84 years old. Frankly, what a person physically need is only around three things: - Nice food and drinks, also easy access to them. - Nice clothing, also easy access to them. - Nice shelter, also easy access to them. Provide all of these three, and a person's need is satified. Perhaps the question isn't "What parts of Asia would you most want to spend your retirement in ?", but instead "What parts of Asia would you most want to spend the rest of your life in ?" Of course, people are nomadic in nature, so... they always tend to move around, unless they find a place too cozy for them to move around. |
