Default Ryanair London–Palermo

Greetings.

Ryanair's website doesn't have any flights between London-Stanstead and
Palermo listed after 25 March. Have they stopped taking bookings more than
two months advance for this route, or are they planning on discontinuing it
completely after 25 March?

Regards,
Tristan

Try TPS (Trapani Birgi).
Is very near Palermo (less than 100 Km of fast Motorway) and with plenty
of Ryanair flights...
Many beach or historical locations are easier accessible from Trapani
than from Palermo.
In the meantime the dispute for Italian ID cards seems to be solved, at
least I hope so...

Ciao, Piero.

Security has little to do with this. It was reported that in some
Italian airports Ryanair happily accepted these supposedly insecure ID
cards, applying a processing fee of more than 30 euros. This, of course,
is not legal under Italian law.

A friend of mine went to the airport yesterday and while she was there she
asked at the Ryanair desk. They confirmed to her that they're
discontinuing all flights from London to Palermo at the end of March.

Tristan
