I recently did a google review of skyauction and found that
several users were satisfied, but complained of not getting their
reservations confirmed until the last minute.

I entered a bid with them and the process kinda smelled. Like they
were bidding themselves to regulate the final price. Also I
noticed the prices aren't much lower or not even higher than what
is on the open market.

Curious to know others opinions, experiences?

Purchased one ticket from them and it worked out fine.

Same here, the one ticket I bought, from upstate NY to London, was
fine. I agree that a lot of people big inexplicably high on
Skyauction, and you need to know what the going prices are or you can
easily overpay.

me too have been watching the fares and come to the idea that travelocity is
better by far.
