Same here, the one ticket I bought, from upstate NY to London, was
fine. I agree that a lot of people big inexplicably high on
Skyauction, and you need to know what the going prices are or you can
easily overpay.

me too have been watching the fares and come to the idea that travelocity is
better by far.

I have not bid on a Skyauction in several years, but had in the past
acquired a weeks timeshare and plane tickets through that business.
And have no complaint in using them.

As Mr. Levine noted, one problem with Skyacution is bidders who have
no idea as to the actual cost of what they are trying to acquire. And
I have found that I can locate the transportation and lodging I want
through other web sites and services.
