Default Avis is Germany

Hi there.
Whilst I never ha a problem with Avis my latest experience is or was
terrible.
I rented a car at Avis Erding, for 4 weeks, and unlike to proper Avis
location, Erding was a 'license Avis", a different system to booking and
billing.
They docked me Euro 1.500.- at the beginning of the rental and upon
return (well, three weeks later) the reminder of about Euro 800 was sent
back to Australia.
The result: band conversion fees totaled AU$ 86 and Avis did not want to
know a bout it.
Yes, after a number of phone calls and a registered letter I was given a
refund.
BUT, it was a fight.
So beware.
Any details: be free to email me

The joys of a spelling checker fully in control.

:-)
At least I don't have a spell checker (sic). I'm not a warlock.

Your complaint here should be with the credit card company.

Not the hire company.
