Laziness & sloth, bad IT support, lack of imagination? Lots of potential excuses. We hae a group that goes out to eat after church on Sundays and we always ask for separate checks. One of our favored restaurants was La Parilla Suiza but one Sunday they anounced they don't split checks, although they always had. We haven't returned. I got the impression that the orders went into the kitchen as one list and then the waiter had to split it up afterward. When the restaurant was very crowded they didn't want to take the time to do that. And I think it was something of a mental challenge for some of the waiters. -- ************* DAVE HATUNEN ) ************* * Tucson Arizona, out where the cacti grow * * My typos & mispellings are intentional copyright traps * |
