Gunloon massacres in the USA a daily event

This morning on a local AM talk radio show, some gunloon tried to spin the massacres as a reason to support concealed carry. The gunloon claimed gunloons would be less likely to commit their acts if they thought some of the people might be packing. Not taking into account many of the gunloons are suicidal and are prepared to be taken out, preferring if they don't survive. The NRA Gunloon Lobby will be happy - they were worried that they weren't going to meet their quota of massacres in eductaional institutions this year. -- Hey Hey NRA How many kids have you killed today? As long as any person can walk into a gunshop off the street and buy rifles and ammunition (especially military style weapons) without any check on their capacity to own one responsibly, and without any course of training in firearm safety to precede it, then you can expect them with ominous regularity. I thought the NIU guy had a shotgun. Correct - plus another gun. How does that relate to my comment? The point wasn't about what this demented bloke had, but why someone like him could walk into a gunshop and take one off the shelf and go kill people with it - with no regulations apart from proving they have a driver's licence. I am not against gun ownership. I am against making it easy for loonies to get and use them. Rifty -- riftynet - put a dot after rifty |

Clearly you don't know the legal requirements then. I am not against gun ownership. I am against making it easy for loonies to get and use them. Once you know the current state of the law then you can hold a meaningful discussion about this, until then you are just too ignorant of you chosen subject. |
