Twin Falls (Hike off I-90) in WA's Cascade Range
For the hikers out there, this is pretty accessible, so a good hike
for tourists to get a look at some of the temperate rain forest in Western Washington. The trailhead is about 45 mins drive from Seattle, and the trail itself is about two miles to the waterfall, and then of course the same going back. Most of the trail is pretty easy, although there are a few hills and switchbacks. On the downside, there are parts of the trail close enough to hear the freeway, which detracts a lot from the nature feel people come here for. Still, this doesn't last very long. Anyway, here are a couple of photos, one of Upper Twin Falls and another of the trail along the way: http://forrestcroce.com/Photos/Twin-...ness-Area.html |
