Default Train from Midway Airport into Chicago - is it above ground the whole way?

I need to get from Midway Airport into the city, and I'm thinking of
taking the L. Is the train above ground all the way, or does it go
underground for part of the trip? And if so, for how long?

Thanks!

It's above ground all the way, mostly on the surface next to various
freight railroads. There's one spot where it goes on an elevated section
that crosses over a busy intersection and gives you a nice view of the
downtown skyline in the distance, from the right side of the train.

When it gets downtown, it goes around the Loop on the elevated tracks and
then heads out to the airport again.
