Default Trenitialia rail pass and supplements

I recently purchased a Trenitalia rail pass. Could anyone verify my
understanding of the required supplements:

1) Eurostar Italia - Advance reservations are always required. The
supplement is included in the cost of the reservation.

2) IC and EC trains - A supplement is normally required for point-to-point
tickets. If using a TrenItalia pass, IC and EC supplement are included in
the pass with no additional charge. Reservations are optional.

Both correct.

That's just about correct. For the Eurostar, I would say that the
reservation is included in the price of the supplement, but it amounts
to the same thing.
