Hi all,

Checking out airnewzealands New Zealand site for flights between
Christchurch and Auckland shows SMART SAVER tickets being available
for the flights I am interested in; checking the same flights from
their UK website shows no SMART SAVER seats available. The SMART SAVER
tickets are a lot cheaper than others.
Does anyone know if these seats are only available to NZ residents? If
so, would it be possible for me to buy the tickets from their NZ site
and have them delivered to a friend who lives in NZ? Or would I need a
NZ passport to use them?

Any help would be appreciated,

Chris

Hi Chris,
We went to New Zealand a couple of years ago to visit relatives. I found out
about these tickets then. I registered on the .NZ site and booked tickets
from Auckland to Tauraunga. I was worried about the offer being for
residents. Then I got a call from AirNZ and thought I was found out, but
they only wanted my youngest son's age as I'd left it off when booking. I'm
in Scotland, so they knew I wasn't resident. You're right about the savings.
Can't remember if we had the tickets delivered or printed them off.
WM
