Default Recommended place for yoga course in India

Hi,
Looking for good place to have yoga course in India - will be there in
the beginning of December. Ideally not too far from Delhi but most
important is to have good spiritual experience and good quality course
(plan on full 8 days).
Is there anything one could specifically recommend?
Regards,
Eric

A friend of mine went to the Sivananda (or is it Shivananda) ashram
for a teachers' course. She really enjoyed it and is now quite a good
teacher. There was a big writeup on it in a newspaper I read once which
also supported it.

A question that gets asked about such places is are they cultish? This
would normally be asked by worried parents or people who's religion
teaches them that anything Hindu is bad. I think the answer is that
it's up to you on your journey through life to make the right decisions.
You've asked for something spiritual and from what I understand Sivananda
would provide that too. I've met a couple of people who've been to ashrams
or Buddhist equivalents and learned a lot without any notable problems.

Happy Diwali by the way, to all it may concern.

'Arya Samaj' are usually considered the best by most Indians.

Branches everywhere, or so I'm informed.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.
Barbeques on fire by the chalets past the castle headland
I watched the gift shops glitter in the darkness off the Newborough gate
All these moments will be lost in time, like icecream on the beach
Time for tea.
