Default Cruise ship no Jackson escapee

I just got the news from two cruise line entertainment departments that
they are working on Michael Jackson "tribute shows" for their cruises in
the coming weeks.

Just when I thought that I heard enough of this freak, drug addict,
pedophile I learn that he will be following us on cruises as early as
next week!

I thought that I may have a break from this nonsence on the three
cruises we have booked
in July & August.

I am especially disappointed with the African American community who
worships a person who was so embarrassed by his race that he employed
the most grotesque surgery and skin bleaching to hide his race.

Hopefully, the white children that he "bought" will be raised in a more
normal environment in the future.

This "icon" of perversity will no doubt make more money dead than he did
alive, but hopefully the cruise tributes will be limited to one or two
songs without his signature "crotch
rub".

Are you being forced to go see these shows on these cruises?

Besides, we all worship people who are flawed. Elvis is one such
example.

We were certainly no Jackson fans, but that does not give us a reason to be
so cold and calculating. The man's dead; at least try to have a little
respect in that sense. Likewise, we definitely do not agree with how he
choose to live his life, but he was acquitted of the pedophile changes, as
just one example. Who are we to second guess the jury and law. This does not
mean that we were even close to wanting to see Michael Jackson in any
concert. Besides, we are probably too old, passing that generation by quite
a few years. As to a tribute to Jackson on select cruises, we might give
that a try, just out of curiosity. Besides, if we don't like it, all we need
to do is get up and leave. After all, were on a cruise ship, and have walked
out on quite a few shows before.

Smooth sailing to all...
John

I snipped most your rotten post. It stunk so bad.

No one is forcing you to go to any shows they might have on cruise
ships.

Michael Jackson's music was not to my taste but he was a masterful
performer. Also his fans were not from any one community as you seem to
imply.

Like some other extremely talented artists he had personal flaws and
peculiar behaviors. Maybe it comes with the territory.

You are not one who should talk about perversity, Gadget. You seem to
fit the definition of perversity to a tee.

My only comment is that the media coverage of Michael Jackson's death
swept Farah Fawcette's valiant fight against cancer to the back pages.
Frankly of the two, I think Farah deserved more coverage. I will
remember her not as one of Charlie's Angels, but for her acting in such
productions as "Extremities". She was a fighter for roles she could
really display her acting in. She was a fighter with her battle against
cancer. Farah's documentary of her battle will no doubt win her an Oscar
posthumously. I saw a few clips on You Tube and they are powerful.

Of course we do. Those kinds of music are timeless. Mozart is still
popular, and he is much older than the people you named.
