Sorry for chinese, but Greenwich Village is a very good tip.
We like neighborood with many restaurants to see and choose...

Just as in San Francisco, the best food in NYC is generally found out in
the neighborhoods where most tourists don't venture.

True. A lot of the best expensive restaurants are in Midtown East,
while a lot of the best inexpensive ones are on the Upper East Side.
Most, but not all, of the restaurants in the Theater District, the
Times Square area, Little Italy, Chinatown and the South Street
Seaport are overpriced and mediocre to bad in quality.

Right, it's one thing to pay a lot for good food, just because the
restaurant is in a good location, but that's generally not the case in
cities like SF and NYC, where the price is often inversely proportional
to the quality.

Next August, 5 will be the 15 birthday of our daughter, and we will
arrive this day in NY.
We will sleep 3 nights at Jamaica, near JFK, and we will arrive there at
3 p.m.
I want to leave all our luggages in hotel (Motel), and to go downtown
(by underground) for the evening.
I would want to find a good place for the dinner to celebrate the
birthday of our girl.
No very luxury restaurants (our budget is not so high)...
No, if possible, Italian or pizza (we're Italians, so I prefer to eat
Italian food at home).
No fast foods, this time...
We like any kind of food: steaks, seafood, all-you-can-eat buffets,
burgers (better if not McDonald's-like), international (not Italian)
food, etc.
Past times in USA we liked much a restaurant chain present only in the
West (Sizzler) and also buffets like the ones in the LV casinos.

Do you have any tip or advice?

Try Mars 2112. You and your daughter will get a kick out of it. I
guarantee you will not find any other restaurant quite like Mars 2112
and your dinner there will be memorable.

See their web site for details
