alaska car rental to seward
Is Hertz the only rental agency with a drop off in Seward?
tried budget and national to no avail. Thinking of renting a car in Anchorage or Fairbanks, driving to Denali and then on to Seward for the cruise. I know it's a one way rental and there's an extra fee but compared to the trains it's not much different cost wise and I like the flexibility. -- Sheree |

alaska car rental to seward
Hertz is the only major one way rental Seward-Anchorage. BUT I NEVER rent that
car for more than 1 full day. I ALWAYS turn it in for a cheap round trip Anchorage rental ( can be done in an hour). As an example- daily rentals one way via Hertz for Anchorage-Seward can run up to $200+/day. I just got a $129+/ week round trip from Alamo. So always turn the car in. If looking at one ways Fairbanks- Anchorage- there are more options but still may be costly, research extensively- Dollar, Thrifty, Payless, Alamo etc for possibilities. |
