Default Teaching in spain

Our long term 3-4 year plan is to relocate to spain. I am currently
studying for my HND in computing, followed by a degree, with a view to
teaching ICT in secondary education. Does any one know the correct
process to enter into from here - I know I need a TEFL but do I still
need the standard british PGSE?

sorry, can't answer your question but if you are considering Madrid
then would suggest you look on the Forum for www.multimadrid.com I
guess that if you posted the same question in that Forum, you would
get some helpful replies.

Do you intend to teach in a Spanish school, or a British or American school?
For the latter, as they are private schools, PGCE would probably not an
absolute requirement but the school would want to see evidence of teaching
experience, preferably at a school in UK (private if you have no QTS -
qualified teacher status). For the former, you would definitely need fluent
Spanish and teaching qualification, obtained in Spain. And as permanent
teachers in the public sector are civil servants, non-Spaniards may not
qualify. I hear there's a glut of teachers looking for jobs and it won't be
easy for a foreigner to be accepted.
