Places to stay in La Beauce, Quebec along/near 173

My wife and I are driving from Maine to Quebec City next week and
since we haven't been able to get a room for the first night we
planned to be in Quebec City, we thought we might break up the trip
and stay a night somewhere along/near route 173.

Can anyone recommend a nice town to stay in?

Basically, we'd just be arriving around 6 pm and would like to get
dinner and a good restaurant (not fancy, just good food) and maybe
walk around the town.

I've tried to do some research on the region, but it's hard to get
good information (or I'm looking in the wrong place).

So a recommendation from someone who knows the area would be extremely
helpful.
