Aghhh! Hurricane Isabel threatens our cruise!!!
"Jim" wrote in message ... Hate to sound like I don't care about your cruise because I do and I hope you have a great one BUT, it only threatens your cruise, it threatens the homes and lives of many of us that live in the possible strike zones. We aren't terribly worried right now but we are highly concerned and reviewing our plans and making sure all of our preparations are done including plans for evacuation if necessary. Kinda puts life into perspective. Jim 'Living in Fl and watching Isabel closely' Andrew - the one that destroyed my house - was at just about the same position.... Look at the interactive storm archive for 1992 at http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/cus...kmap.htmlstory We will be watching very closely - as will the entire eastern seaboard. I just hope it's not another Floyd - bouncing along so closely that the whole coast had to be evacuated. It needs to turn soon, and turn sharply, and leave all land masses alone! Chris |

Well, I called RCI and, as I suspected, they won't say anything. They can't even speculate about what could happen. Looks like I can either cancel now and get 75% back for a future cruise or go ahead and fly down on Thursday as originally planned and take a chance at the cruise being cancelled or delayed by them. We'll see..... "TCS" wrote in message news:slrnblpggo.18l9.The.Central.Scrutinizer@turin g.kaosol.net... Does our cruise insurance help at all? We got the insurance from Royal Caribbean. We gambled with hurricane season and we might have lost!!!! What does the cruise company say? |
