Dervishes in Istanbul: When/where?

Exactly where in Istanbul can travellers see the Dervishes do their
whirling ceremony? I've heard mention of a "Mevlevi Monastery"? Are
there other places?
When are they observable by the public? Will the schedule be the same
at the end of December?

According to Google, there is a Mevlevi Monastery in Beyoglu, near Tunel
Square, where you can see performances by dervishes. Also any club offering
Turkish Nights Entertainment will include whirling dervishes along with folk
dancers and bellydancers. I have been to Istanbul in January and everything was
open then just the same as in the summer.

I have just come back from 2 weeks in Turkey where I saw, amongst other things,
the tomb of the Mevlana in Konya. What a fantastic building, most beautifully
decorated.
