Doesn't look like there are any during that time:

Civil War Battle Reenactments Events - Living History
Address:http://www.sutler.net/eventlist.asp

I don't know how exhaustive that list is, but it claims to be.

Incidentally, Mississippi = MS. MI=Michigan.

thanx Nile.. I forgot..
it looks like the itinery has changed.
we will fly into St.Louis, rent a car, drive to NOLA. I figure the drive
will be about 8hrs so we will probably end up staying somewhere around the
Lafayette area, and then go on to NO the next day.
We will start our trip from there.
so now I have to revise it.. and Nashville is probably out.
any ideas..

St Louis - New Orleans is about an 11-hour drive; count on 12 or 13 with
stops.

Nashville is probably out. any ideas..

Seems like starting in St Louis would make the original trip much more
doable?
