VIENNA and Bratislava accomodation

Hello,

I am planning to be in Vienna (Austria) and Bratislava (Slovakia) for a
couple of days at the end of December. Does anyone know any good
accomodations in these cities?

I would prefer private affordable accomodation like B&B, Pension,
Guesthouse or Hostel.

Any suggestions are welcome.

In Vienna, I recommend Hostel Ruthensteiner over Wombat's. Wombat's is
more popular, but the Ruthensteiner has a nice court yard, a guitar
for me to play, small dorms etc. And it costs the same price, if I
remember correctly.

There are 2 or 3 supermarkets around the corner too! Its only a 5-10
minute walk from the train station and is easy to find.
