Paris 18-20°C this week
I don't think Maxi has commented on the fact that Paris has turned cool, it has been cool for a while and this week it will hover around a max of 20°C. So talk of a summer heat wave has died down in these parts and people are in sweaters and not sweating. Northern French weather is not complicated, if it is cool the Brits sent it in their typical perfidious fashion. So the colder weather is coming in from the North Atlantic shoving aside the warmer weather from the south. This also means the sitting outside at the café in the sun is the preferred option or walking on the sunning side of the street to get a little sun. The forecasts are for continued cooler weather at least up to next weekend. I prefer the mid to high 20s, but Maxi prefers Igloo weather and he will be pleased. So for --- Those showing up this week from North America-bring sweaters. It is easy travelign weather, not much rain and I suspect that a drought will be the farmers' fate this year. Earl |

Paris 18-20°C this week
Well thank President Bush, Earl. After all it is America which is controlled
by a vast right conspiracy that controls the climate of the planet. Last summer while dining on sautéed frog's legs Dubya said: "Hmmm why just fry their legs, lets fry the frogs." His staff took the comment literally and we turned up the heat on "la Republique." Its great being the world's only superpower don't you think? Capitalist Pig "Earl Evleth" wrote in message ... So talk of a summer heat wave has died down in these parts and people are in sweaters and not sweating. It's easy to forget yesterday's weather when confronted with today's weather. -- Transpose hotmail and mxsmanic in my e-mail address to reach me directly. |
