Default Moralist Pharmacists Refusing To Fill Prescriptions

What is interesting is that americans had accepted many social values, and all
of a sudden, the same pharmacists who last week didn't have any problems
handing out the pill decided it is so immoral that he will not fill out such
prescriptions anymore.

What has happened to cause so many americans to revert to 14th century
thinking in the last couple of years ?

In victorian era USA, you're not supposed to have sex unless you intend to
have a child.
No sex = no need for contraceptive or abortion.

Coming soon, when the new Ashkroft gets settled into his bosses job, all
americans will be issued chastity belts with the government holding the keys.
You'll need a permit from the goevrnment to have sex. Keys to be released only
to couples with religious marriages and for periods not exceeding 5 days at a
time, with proof that those 5 days match fertility period of the wife.

All couples will be obligated to have at least 1.7 children.

The white house is confident that the large pharmaceutical firms will increase
their profits despite the loss of revenus due to the Pill no longer be allowed
in the USA. This is because from now on, both men and women will take pills to
curb their sexual urges.

"9/11 Changed Everything"

It's the new right wing motto.

I first heard it (or at least a close variation) uttered out loud the
day after 9/11.

Everything can be/is being justified by 9/11.

I think we are witnessing the Age of American Hysteria.

Interesting. Most Viagra is not sold to men with "erectile
dysfunction." In fact, over half the Viagra sold is to young men
inthe 20's who use it so they can drink heavily and still have sex.
I'll bet that not a single pharmacist who is morally opposed to
issuing birth control pills has a bit of a problem selling Viagra to a
20-year-old.

The first asshole who refuses to fill my prescription will find
himself in the sights of a trial lawyer friend of mine.

That's my advice to women who may be refused birth control pills.
Your pharmacist has a contract with your insurance company -- if he
does not fulfill the contract, sue his biblethumping ass.

Maybe Jerry Falwell's message got through after all.
