Default rental car

We will be in Spain for two weeks from December 30th, 2006 to January
13th, 2007, in Andalucia to be specific. Anyone know we can drive our
rental car to Morocco?

Morocco is generally blacklisted so it's not generally allowed, but
check with your rental car company anyway.

Thanks for the quick response. Anyone have experience which rental
company allows the car to be driven there?

You are unlikely to find any rental outfit in Spain allowing their car to be
taken to Morocco (or anywhere else in North Africa). Their insurance, to
start with, won't cover, and there's a risk that they will never see their
car again.
But why do you want to take a car over there? You have to pay ferry charges
both ways. You can always hire a car once you are in Morocco, though I know
rental charges are considerably higher there than in Spain.

We are still exploring our options. We'll fly into Madrid and come
back out of Barcelona. We figure we'll pick the car up in Barajas
Airport and drive to Sevilla. It's going to be a one way rental.
We'll drop it off before heading to Barcelona, from wherever our last
stop will be in Andalucia. If taking the rental to Morocco is not
feasible we'll have to make other plans.
