Frankfurt & Berlin info requested
Färberstrasse turns into Dreikoenigstrasse and is in the Sachsenhausen
section of Frankfurt. It is directly across the river (over a walking bridge) from the Altstadt part of Frankfurt. Sachsenhausen is a rats nest of tiny pedestrian only streets lined with clubs and restaurants. There is a youth hostel right there next to the river in Sachsenhause as well. Here is the address Haus der Jugend Deutschherrnufer 12 60594 Frankfurt am Main 49 (0) 69 / 21 23 08 08 Here are a few hotels I found in Sachsenhausen Hotel Deutsche Post Oppenheimer Landstr. 81 60596 Frankfurt am Main Kreditkarte: Visa Card Diners Card Euro/MasterCard American Express 49 (0) 69 / 21 23 08 08 Hotel Maingau Schifferstr. 38-40 60594 Frankfurt am Main 49 (0) 69 / 21 23 08 08 Have fun Wow! Thanks, Yorick. That was fast and very helpful. Now if only I can find hotels close to the two locations... PROMOTE wrote: I think you misspelled Dreikönigskeller (three kings basement), which can also be spelled Dreikoenigskeller. It looks like their site (http://www.dreikoenigskeller.net/) is down, but I could find the adress "Färberstraße 71 Frankfurt am Main" with Google. Hope that helps! Yorick. |

Thank you all for your posted and private mail. You really helped a lot. With
your collected information, I decided to stay at Hotel Memphis on Münchener Str. 15. Just the other side of the river from the club but apparently in a good neighboorhood. (Anyone stay there before or know about it?) I booked the hotel through www.hrs.com at a better rate than some other hotel res. services and the amazing interactive maps at www.map24.de really helped me see the lay of the land. Happy travels to all! Joseph ----------------------- Färberstrasse turns into Dreikoenigstrasse and is in the Sachsenhausen section of Frankfurt.
