Is there a train connection from Brisbane to Gladstone? If so, can

someone
please direct me to an appropriate website or mail address for

additional
information?

http://www.countrylink.info/

Good luck!

You'll need a lot of luck to find any info on that site, it is for the
wrong state! Countrylink is the NSW operator, operating services
within NSW as well as from SYD to BNE and MEL (although for how much
longer is the topic of rabid discussion on aus.rail ).

Queensland Rail TravelTrain is what is needed, the URL for which has
already been posted several times in this thread.

Wrong Dave . Go to the last section on the CountryLink site titled ' Other
Tracks ' Surprise surprise there are quite few links to other rail sites
including QR.

It is a link. You won't find any info on QR on the Countrylink site,
only a link to the QR site, which was the correct link in the first
place.
