Default OT/Operation Dear Abby

The holidays can be a lonely time. Especially for members of our armed
forces....who may be serving far from family and loved ones. As such,
people were encouraged for years to write US servicememembers stationed
overseas and "at the home front" this time of year through "Operation Dear
Abby". Unfortunately, because of the events following September 11 in
regards to safety of the mails, letters themselves can no longer be mailed.

Enter cyberspace. Rather than mailing letters, the same letters can be
mailed by the touch of a keyboard and click of a mouse. At no cost to you,
e-mail can be sent to servicemembers (now you can designate the branch of
service/state they are from) at:
