New airline to fly to Darwin
Friday June 4, 06:41 PM A new airline is to begin international
flights to Darwin in August. The Pacific island state of Palau is about to launch Palau Micronesia Air, with plans to fly to Darwin. Aviation development director of Northern Territory Airports Peter Roberts says the airline will use crews from New Zealand and will fly twice a week. "Looking at two times a week on a Thursday night and a Sunday night using a Boeing 737-300 airplane and I understand the flight time is something like three and a quarter hours from Darwin to Palau," he said. ### --multiplaza.nl.nu-- |
