Default Car Rental Rates

Planning to rent a car in Sydney for two weeks in late January.

Have tried the webiste s of the major companies (Avis, Hertz, Budget,
Thrifty) and the best rate found was approx. $500.00.

Also tried rates at locations other than the International Airport to
avoid the Airport Cocession Recovery fee. Didn't make a big
difference.

Advantage seemed marginally beetter at $470 for the 14 days.

Any input/feedback on how to get a better rate (rental discount codes,
etc.) and/or other companies?

Thanks

To work it out
Where are you residing e.g US
What dates of hiring
What age group are you
What type of vehicle are you looking at
What additions etc
Are you a member of any Airline Frequent Flyer program etc.
Some examples of variations of price are caused by:
If you are from US and enter some details price is a lot
higher than if you are from Australia
(assumably as you are driving on opposite sde of road to normal)
If you are under 25 cost higher
If you are a member of Qantas Frequent Flyer program
and enter the CDP (297302) it is a bit lower than normal
Give me the details above an dI will do a bit of checking.
Although the price quoted by you is fairly good at less than
$36AUD a day
